Bulletin for Week of September 5, 2010

LABOR DAY AT CAMP CLEARFORK!  Come to Clearfork tomorrow starting at 3PM for games and fun for the whole family!  Burgers and hot dogs will be fresh off the grill and ready to eat at 6.  Bring your folding chairs, bug spray, and  swimwear for the children so they can play water games.  There will be no swimming in the lake, but plenty of other things to do!  Take Hwy 270 west to just past Crystal Springs, about 30 minutes from church.

THIS WEDNESDAY'S EVENING SERVICE will begin at 6:30 starting with praise and worship, followed by a time of prayer.

TRACY FISHER leaves on a Medical Mission Trip to Uganda this Wednesday and will be gone the entire month.  Please pray for safety, stamina, and revelation from God as she spends this time working with the Ugandan people.

PASTOR JIM AND A TEAM OF FOUR leave this Saturday for their Mexico Mission Trip.  They will be ministering in Manzanillo and the surrounding area and will return on the 18th.  Please pray for the team's safety and good health, and that the Mexican people would have ears to hear the Good News!

YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND A BABY SHOWER for Tennyson Haggard, Debby Edwards' daughter, being held at Debby's house this Saturday from 10AM until 12 Noon.  Debby lives at 2315 Spring Street and Tennyson is having a little boy who will be named Jack Henry.

MEN'S NIGHT is scheduled for later this month at The Farm in Lonsdale, located about 20 minutes outside of Hot Springs on Hwy 70 East.  More details to come!

YOUTH OUTING is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, for the Loft & ?Tweens.  This is a trip to Conway costing $15 for games plus money for dinner with a choice between Laser Tag or Paintball.  Sign up in The Loft today!

PLEASE BE THINKING ABOUT what your part will be in this year's Harvest Festival, which will be held on Sunday evening, October 31st. Many workers are needed to make this a success!  Help is needed in setting up and tearing down, as well as working games and food concessions.  Please mark this as a night to be at church, giving of your time and energy to the entire community!

CHRISTMAS BENEVOLENCE GIFTS: Just a reminder to begin watching for sales on children's toys and games.  Our benevolence Christmas party will be held in the middle of December, but you can start bringing in wrapped gifts anytime.  Gifts should be wrapped and tagged with the following information: what the item is, if it's for a boy or girl, and the suggested age.  We give gifts to children in the community from infants up to age 12.
